Cricut Creation

I made this card using my new Cricut Expression. I've wanted one for quite some time and was able to finally purchase one on black Friday at a very good price. WooHoo! I enjoy playing around with it and must admit I've come addicted to YouTube crafting videos. ;o)  The red in the card is all one piece of paper, except for the snowflakes. I added two white pieces of paper to the back.  As you will notice by the card, there is plenty of room for improvement so that just means more fun for me to practice, practice, practice. I love this thing!

Beautiful Smoky Mountains in TN

Here is another one of God's beauties. This photo was taken from my back yard.  I am trying to learn Photoshop as well. Sometimes I get frustrated because it is so complex. I'm glad I figured this technique out because, I love how the vibrant red of his feathers pop on this black and white.

Texture

I am taking a photography class. The class is a lot of fun and I am learning a lot.  Our first weeks assignment was to take pictures of  texture.  This  photo caught the  teacher's eye as a good example of texture.
